CONTROVERSIAL FILM LEADS TO THE DEATH OF 19 IN PAKISTAN
A controversial made in the US claiming to be Anti-Islam has erupted many complaints and negative responses from members of the Islam religion, many protesters have run through the streets of Pakistan.
Fourteen people were killed in Karachi whilst five were killed in the city of Peshawar, Hospital officials confirmed. Many others have died around the world due to protesters, the Pakistan government have urged protesters to be " Peaceful and calm about the whole situation.
Protesters stormed through the streets, the clashed with the police outside the diplomatic enclave in the capital, Islamabad, near the US embassy.
The amateur film Innocent of Muslims has caused an uproar.
Many people have been wounded, and according to the BBC website, many are in critical condition fighting for their lives.
France shut embassies and other missions in around 20 countries, across the Muslim world on Friday.
Protests itself were Banned in Tunisia and France, where France formerly had colonial power, but there were widespread demonstrations elsewhere.
- In Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia a more than peaceful protest took place in the US embassy.
- Around 3000 or so people marched the streets in the southern Iraqi city of Basra.
- Thousands burned the US flag and also the French flag, in the city Dhaka in Bangladesh.
- Crowds rallied in Baalbek in Lebanon burning the Israeli and US flag.
- Thousands of Libyans joined a march in Benghazi against Islamist militia, who were blamed for an attack in which the US ambassador and three other American officials have been killed.
